r R <br /> Work Plan for Limited Phase 2 Environmental Assessment Page 2 <br /> 210 S.Main Street,Manteca,California June 13,2007 <br /> • Assuming unrestricted access to the site, WKA will advance and sample up to four <br /> direct-push soil borings to a maximum depth of 20 feet below ground surface (bgs). Soil <br /> samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals for soil description, field screening using a <br /> photoionization detector(PID), and potential laboratory analysis. After sample collection <br /> activities are completed, each boring location will be backfilled with a bentonite slurry in <br /> accordance with standard field protocols. <br /> • Samples will be tracked using chain of custody documentation and transported in a <br /> chilled cooler to a state-certified analytical laboratory. Selected samples will be analyzed <br /> for petroleum hydrocarbon related constituents using EPA Method 8260B and Modified <br /> EPA Method 8015. <br /> Upon completion of the fieldwork WKA will provide the client with copies of our field notes, <br /> but as requested, a formal report will not be prepared by WKA as it will be prepared by others <br /> involved with the overall assessment of the property.
