r R
Work Plan for Limited Phase 2 Environmental Assessment Page 2
210 S.Main Street,Manteca,California June 13,2007
• Assuming unrestricted access to the site, WKA will advance and sample up to four
direct-push soil borings to a maximum depth of 20 feet below ground surface (bgs). Soil
samples will be collected at 5-foot intervals for soil description, field screening using a
photoionization detector(PID), and potential laboratory analysis. After sample collection
activities are completed, each boring location will be backfilled with a bentonite slurry in
accordance with standard field protocols.
• Samples will be tracked using chain of custody documentation and transported in a
chilled cooler to a state-certified analytical laboratory. Selected samples will be analyzed
for petroleum hydrocarbon related constituents using EPA Method 8260B and Modified
EPA Method 8015.
Upon completion of the fieldwork WKA will provide the client with copies of our field notes,
but as requested, a formal report will not be prepared by WKA as it will be prepared by others
involved with the overall assessment of the property. All work will be performed under the
direct supervision of a California Professional Geologist, in accordance with current state and
county guidelines.
Should you have any questions concerning the contents of this work plan, please contact me at
(916) 372-1434.
Wallace-Kuhl &Associates, Inc.
Scott A.
