A 1-1/2 inch diameter California modified split
spoon sampler with brass sleeves was driven through 673/4
inch outside diameter hollowstern auger to collect samples at j
intervals of five feet.
s
Soil samples collected were field inspected and legged
according to their Unified Sail Classification symbol. The
boring legs are attached as Appendix A.
I;
Borings i throughfive were drilled vertically to a {
maximum depth of fifteen feet. Site conditions required that
boring .6 be drilled at a 30 degree angle from vertical. The
bcr ing was drilled in the direction indicated _n Figure 1-1.
A11 - borings were backfilled with a nine, sack'`cernent/sand
slurry .under the supervision of a San Jragi_tiri Local Health j
District;._ inspector.
j Inborings 1 through 5, the .five and ten, foot samples Cp `
w were canposited" as shown r n the 1ab_-ratory results.
