LIGHT, AIR & SPACE CONSTRUCTION
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES COMPANY
State Contractor's License Number 445403
State EPA R.E.A-Number 04072
Each groundwater sample will be carefully collected with a clean disposable PVC bailer and
poured with minimum cavitation into the appropriate laboratory prepared container. Each water
sample will be labeled, logged onto a chain-of-custody form, and placed in a chilled ice chest on
crushed ice. Upon completion of well sampling, each well will be closed and locked. Well purge
water will be stored onsite in labeled 55-gallon steel drums at a client-designated location until
the analysis results are available. The purge water will then be appropriately disposed.
5.0 Chemical Analysis
Up to six (6) soil samples and three (3) groundwater samples will be analyzed at Test America,
a certified analytical laboratory in Pleasanton, California. Samples will be tested for the
following; Total Petroleum hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPHG) and Diesel (TPHD), Benzene (B),
Toluene (T), Ethylbenzene (E), Xylene (X), Methyl-tent-butyl-ether (MTBE), and fuel oxygenates
tent-Amyl-Methyl-Ether, Ethyl-tett-Butyl-Ether, Di-isopropyl Ether and tent-Butyl Alcohol (MTBE,
ETRE, TAME, DIPE, TBA), 1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), Ethanol, Methanol and Lead using
EPA Methods 3550, 351018015, 5030, 8020 and 8260B, and 6010.
6.0 Report
A report of the findings of this site investigation will be prepared for submittal to the EHD. The
report will include the field methods, permits, exploratory boring logs, monitoring well
construction details, chemical analytical data, site map, groundwater flow contour map, geologic
cross sections, a site conceptual model building on the previous work and the data collected
from this proposed work plan and report narrative on subsurface conditions and contaminant
extent. The report will include estimates of contaminant extent, conclusions and
recommendations for additional work. The reports will be prepared in both hard copy, and
electronic format for submittal to Geotracker. If you have any questions and/or need additional
information please contact David Guthridge at 408-979-0661.
Sincerely,
Li t, Air and a Construction `0kER Gc
n HR 4f00
,1 U
No.1262
D vid B.
