(ERM) is <br /> pleased to submit this Workplan to install six borings for the purpose of <br /> collecting soil samples for chemical analysis. This work is being <br /> performed at the Del Monte Stockton Warehouse 14 at 2396 East Miner <br /> Avenue in Stockton,California (site, Figure 1). ERM has enclosed a <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (County) Well <br /> Permit Application and a check in the amount of$89.00 for the permit <br /> fee. In addition, a check in the amount of$285.00 is included for the site <br /> mitigation fees. <br /> Proposed Scope of Work <br /> ERM will install six soil borings (B 1 hrough B16) at the site to investigate <br /> subsurface conditions in portions of _the site to evaluate on-site and adjacent <br /> property concerns. The proposed boring locations are shown on Figure 2. <br /> Prior to conducting drilling activities, the proposed boring locations will be <br /> marked using white paint, and Underground Service Alert will be notified <br /> 48 hours prior to installing the borings. In addition, all proposed locations <br /> will be cleared by a private utility-locating service, and hand augered to <br /> 5 feet below ground surface (bgs) to ensure underground utilities are not <br /> encountered. <br /> ERM proposes to install the six borings usinga direct-push drill rig.f <br /> Drilling activities will be performed by a C-57 licensed contractor.
