{
0
26250)lfideeawn Street, Thoralon,CA
6354542ESAII
-II-
6.0 RECOWdENDATIONS AND OPINIONS
Soil samples collected and analyzed at the areas of concern at the site did not contain detectable volatile organic
compounds or total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline. The highest concentration of TPH as diesel was 54 mg/kg
and TPH as oil was 450 mg/kg. These were detected in the 3 foot sample from boring 4,near the leach field. The
next deepest sample at a 5 foot depth was analyzed and contained no detectable TPH as diesel and 6.4 mg/kg TPH
as oil. Based on these results,no threat to groundwater exists.
Detected concentrations of TPH as diesel and TPH as oil are below the Regional Water Quality Control Board- San
Francisco Region, Environmental Screening Levels for commercial use properties for these contaminants. The
elevated concentrations of TPH as diesel and oil are limited to a shallow depth and do not pose an unacceptable risk.
Because this is only a surface release,no further action is warranted,as further degradation of the contaminants will
occur over time,and no threat to groundwater exists.
Based on the results of the subsurface investigation, Odic Environmental recommends no further action
minimal risk of contamination at the Subject Property, due to
ODIC Environmental
