• • Odic Environmental
Page 3 of 4
• One soil sample from each of the four soil borings will be submitted for analysis of TPH as oil,diesel,
and gasoline and VOCs using EPA Method 8260.
• One groundwater sample(if encountered)adjacent to the septic tank will be analyzed for TPH as oil,
diesel,and gasoline and VOCs using EPA Method 8260.
Data Evaluation&Reporting
• Prepare a report to document the methods used and present the results of our investigation.Based on
the results,present our conclusions and provide recommendations for further investigation and/or
remediation.
• Report shall be prepared by State Professional Geologist
• Report shall contain boring log,site plot plan,site location map,regional hydrogeology,laboratory
reports&chain of custody.
Project Managemen
• Includes project scheduling, subcontractor coordination,laboratory work order and client
correspondence.
Exclusion and Assumptions
• Odic Environmental will notify USA of the intent to excavate and use standard care to avoid potential
damage to subsurface utilities,but will not be responsible for any such damage.
• ODIC does not guarantee that direct push techniques can be successfully completed if there are any
adverse drilling conditions or unforeseen obstacles such as coarse bedrock or if soil conditions are not
favorable for direct push methods.
• Odic Environmental has assumed that the push probe rig will be able to penetrate the existing concrete
slab and that concrete coring will not be required. Odic Environmental will take standard precautions
to protect existing flooring materials and has included in the budget some cost for restoring the
flooring to existing conditions via patching the immediate area of each boring,but has not planned for
any further restoration at this time. If professional concrete coring may be required at additional
charge, ODIC will notify the client for cost approval, prior to additional costs being incurred to the
project commencement.
• The surface cover will be no thicker than 6 inches;
• All boring locations will be accessible with a truck mounted direct-push drill rig;
• A 13-foot minimum overhead clearance will be available at all boring locations;
• Concrete or asphalt patch will be sufficient to refinish the ground surface at each boring location.
• Odic will not be responsible for replacing ground cover at boring locations (e.g., tiles, carpet, epoxy
seal,etc.)beyond concrete or asphalt patch;
• Disposal of contaminated soil, water, or the boring dirt is excluded from this bid proposal (not
expected with direct-push technology).
• Laboratory analysis of soil and/or groundwater samples will be performed on three day turnaround,
unless addressed differently or client authorized expedited laboratory analysis at additional cost.
Proposed Work Schedule
Schedule: Pre-drilling activity/permit 10 Days
Drilling/Sampling activity I Day
Laboratory Analysis 3 Days
Final report 2 days after lab analysis report
