(AGE) and has the following comments.
In the Work Plan AGE proposes to continue the investigation of this contaminated
underground storage tank (UST) site with the installation of five groundwater monitoring
wells. One of the wells will be located in the former UST pit area and built with a screen
interval from 20-40 feet below surface grade (bsg) to intercept shallow groundwater. The
remaining four wells will be installed to total depths of approximately 60 feet bsg with a
screen interval from 55-60 feet bsg; one will be located in the former UST pit area, the other
three will be located east of the site in the presumed down-gradient direction.
The EHD approves the proposed scope of work. Please proceed with submittal of San
Joaquin County Well Permit Application, $89.00 permit fee and $315.00 permit inspection fee
and with scheduling the approved work. Deadline for installation of the groundwater
monitoring wells is February 27, 2009; a report of findings documenting the work is due for
submittal to the EHD within 60 days following completion of the fieldwork.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, REHS
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
c: Lauren Cardinalli, AGE, 837 Shaw Road, Stockton, CA 95215
