(on behalf of Chevron) began implementing the work proposed in the Enhanced
Biological Oxidation Pilot Study Workplan for Chevron Site ID 306415 located at 437 East Miner Avenue
in Stockton, California during December 2010. Pilot study activities completed to date include installing 12
injection wells and 4 dose response monitoring wells, collecting baseline samples, conducting one
injection event, and conducting two rounds of post injection monitoring.
Background
The 12 injections wells and four dose response wells were installed in December 2010 and January 2011,
including wells in each hydrostratigraphic unit(A,A', B, B'). Figure 1 depicts the location of the newly
installed wells. Baseline results are included with post-injection results in Attachment 1.
During the initial injection event, approximately 36,800 gallons of injection solution, with an average
concentration of 5 grams per liter(g/L)sulfate and 36 milligrams per liter(mg/L)fluorescein tracer,were
injected. These injections were coupled with real-time dose response monitoring in each of the
hydrostratigraphic units(at the respective dose response wells[U-1, U-27A, U-27A', U-2713, and U-27B'])
to confirm delivery of solution at the targeted injection intervals and radii.
Attachment 1 and Tables 1.1 through 1.5 provide detailed baseline-and post-injection results at each of
the dose response wells:
Page:
y: amuaatsnz ommommewmem®m,ame,cbMs,mmaya08ats gm s,m„en+0102011.ao< 1/4
