I am the project professional at Union Oil Company of California(Unocal)who is principally <br /> responsible for overseeing corrective action at former service station 0187, located at 437 East <br /> Miner Avenue, Stockton, California ("the Site"). In that capacity, I am the person at Unocal <br /> responsible for maintaining all files with regard to corrective action taken at the Site. <br /> 2. Attached as Exhibit I to this affidavit is a true and correct copy of a letter dated June 25, 1997 <br /> which I received in my capacity as a project professional for Unocal from the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD). <br /> 3. Attached as Exhibit 2 to this affidavit is a true and correct copy of a letter dated December 10, <br /> 1997 which I received in my capacity as a project professional for Unocal from PHS/EHD. <br /> 4. Upon receipt of the December 10, 1997 letter referred to in the preceding paragraph, I <br /> requested Pacific Environmental Group, Inc. (PEG) to review that letter, as well as the data <br /> concerning the corrective action that had been taken to date at the Site to determine the <br /> reasonableness of the request made by PHS/EHD.
