Meeting Notes
Chevron Site 306415
437 East Miner Avenue, Stockton
Attendees:
EHD Margaret Lagorio
Nuel Henderson
Chevron Stephanie Furgal
ENSR Kent Baugh
George Forsythe
Meeting Date: August 13 (Monday), 2007, 14:00 to 17:00
Location: San Joaquin County EHD, 600 East Main Street,
Stockton, CA
Discussion Topics
1. ENSR proposed the abandonment of several wells located in high-traffic
areas and provided several recent pictures of some of the wells relative
to the surrounding area and associated traffic hazards. The San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) requested that
Chevron/ENSR prepare a formal request for abandonment of the wells
including pictures and supporting documentation for this request.
2. EHD indicated that in earlier correspondence they had suggested a
reduction in chemical analyses for some of the groundwater monitoring
wells.
To address Topic 1, ENSR will provide a formal request to the EHD for
abandonment of the wells located in high-traffic areas with the supporting
documentation requested by the EHD. To address Topic 2, ENSR will
review past correspondence between the EHD, Chevron, and ENSR and
include in the formal request for well abandonment, a request for a reduction
in chemical analyses and frequency of analyses for selected wells using
information from past EHD correspondence.
