Work Plan For Monitoring Well Installation - Former Unocal Station No. 0187 <br /> Mash 31, 1997 <br /> Task 5. Laboratory Analyses. <br /> GSI will submit samples for chemical analysis by a California-certified Hazardous Material Testing <br /> Laboratory. Soil samples will be analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPHg) by <br /> EPA Method 8015, for and Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and total Xylenes (BTEX). The <br /> stockpiled drill cuttings will also be analyzed for total lead. Groundwater samples will be analyzed <br /> for TPHg, BTEX, and methyl-tert-butyl-ether (MTBE) by EPA Method 8020. <br /> Task 6. Report Preparation. <br /> Following receipt and analysis of all data, a report will be prepared which summarizes the procedures <br /> and findings associated with the installation of the offsite well. Included with this report will be a <br /> survey of wells within 1,000 feet of the subject site. This report will be submitted to Unocal for their <br /> use and distribution. <br /> PROJECT STAFF <br /> Mr. Stephen J. Carter, a Registered Geologist in the State of California (R.G. No. 5577), will provide <br /> technical oversight and review of the work. Mr. Greg Gurss, Project Manager, will supervise field and <br /> office operations. G-R employs a staff of geologists, engineers, and technicians who will assist with the <br /> project. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Implementation of the proposed scope of work will commence upon receipt of regulatory approval. <br /> 7snsl-1 4 <br />
