Cumulative groundwater sampling analytical
results for wells U-3 and U-10 and piezometers NP-1 and NP-2 are summarized in Table 9.
Graphs of concentrations of TPHg and benzene versus time in wells U-3 and U-10 and
' piezometers NP-1 and NP-2 are included as Attachment D.
Discussion
1 During August 2004, flow ports were installed on all sparge lines to monitor the volume of 03
being delivered to each sparge point. The average flow of 03 being delivered to each sparge
point is approximately 1.22 standard cfm.
' Overall depth to water measurements in the vicinity of the site show an increasing trend. The
increasing demand for groundwater in the San Joaquin Valley appears to be effecting the
1 groundwater table elevation beneath the site. Sparge points SP-5C and SP-6C, screened
across groundwater zone A, may have to shut down in the near future in order to optimize to the
remediation system.
' Recommendations
' ENSR recommends that operation of the ozone microsparge system continue and further
groundwater sampling and D.O. monitoring be performed to evaluate the system's
effectiveness.
' Future Work
The fourth quarter groundwater monitoring and sampling is currently scheduled for October
' 2004.
Remarks/Signatures
The interpretations in this report represent our professional opinions and are based, in part, on
p p p
the information supplied by the client.
