1 <br /> ARCADIS GERAGHTY&MILLER <br /> well was observed ' The -1 and <br /> e second phase was performed on February 5, 1999 (NP ) <br /> February 1, 1999 (NP-2) by Gettler-Ryan and consisted of pumping each well using a <br /> peristaltic pump Well development was deemed sufficient when the parameters pH, <br />' temperature and conductivity stabilized within 10 percent of the previous reading for three <br /> consecutive measurements and clear water was being produced All measurements were <br />' recorded on well development logs winch are given in Appendix D <br /> All well development equipment was thoroughly cleaned prior to and following use at <br />' each groundwater moritoring well location The clearing procedures consisted of steam <br /> cleaning or triple-rinse cleaning methods The tnple-rinse cleaning method employed consisted <br />' of washing the equipment in potable water with a cleansing solution, rinsing in potable water, <br /> then rinsing with distilled water All purge water was placed in 55-gallon drums winch were <br /> labeled and left on-site pending final disposition <br />' 4.6 WELL SURVEY <br />' Followingwell completion, the northnn eastui coordinates and elevation relative to <br /> � g <br /> MSL for each new and existing well were surveyed by a California Licensed Land Surveyor <br /> The results of the survey are provided as Appendix E <br /> 4.7 QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br />' Groundwater sampling activities were completed on February 5, 1999 by Gettler-Ryan <br />' Groundwater sampling procedures are provided in the quarterly report prepared by Gettler- <br /> Ryan winch is given in Appendix D of this document <br /> 1 <br />' 20 <br />
