• Soil Remediation Feasibility Study Work Plan - Unocal Station No 0187
April 30, 1996
It is anticipated that the SJVUAPCD will require monthly analysis of influent and effluent vapor
concentration to assure permit compliance Influent and effluent vapor concentrations will be
measured with a flame-ionization detector (FID) The exact monatonng frequency required will
be dictated by SJVUAPCD Quarterly reports wall be prepared which will include the vapor
extraction system results. These reports will be submitted to Unocal for their use and
distribution
RMlect,Schedule
Upon approval of the Work Plan and receipt of the required permits, the VET will commence
and will take approximately one week to install Start-up of the VET as projected to commence
in early July 1996 The VET is anticipated to operate for approximately six months, at which
time the effectiveness of vapor extraction as an appropriate remedial technology will be
evaluated
• UN0187 SAW
42705-1 7
