rFormer Unocal Service Station No 0187 <br /> May 11, 1995 <br /> southeast of the subject site on the northwest corner of the intersection of East Weber <br /> Avenue and North Stanislaus Street, and west-southwest of the subject site on the southeast <br /> corner of the intersection of East Miner Avenue and North Sutter Street <br /> 611163 photograph - Service station at subject site still visible Property immediately south <br /> of the subject site on southwest corner of North California Street and East Miner Avenue <br /> no longer has service station building, and appears to be used for parking No other <br /> service stations or other obvious sources of petroleum hydrocarbons observed in the site <br /> vicinity <br /> 11/9/75- graph - Service station at subject site still visible Property immediately <br /> south of the subject site on southwest corner of North California Street and East Miner <br /> Avenue appears to again have a service station No other service stations or other obvious <br /> sources of petroleum hydrocarbons observed in the site vicinity <br /> 1983 photograph - Service station at subject site still visible Property immediately south <br /> of the subject site on southwest corner of North California Street and East Miner Avenue <br /> no longer has service station building, and appears to be used for parking No other <br /> service stations or other obvious sources of petroleum hydrocarbons observed in the site <br /> vicinity. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> After evaluating the database search results and reviewing the Sanborn maps and aerial <br /> photographs, GSI concluded that the property situated at 448 East Miner Avenue (on the <br /> southwest corner of North California Street and East Miner Avenue) has the greatest <br /> potential to have contributed dissolved hydrocarbons to the impacted shallow groundwater <br /> beneath the subject site The 448 Fast Miner Avenue site is approximately 100 feet south <br /> of the subject site Groundwater monitoring at the subject site indicates that presently <br /> groundwater in the vicinity of the subject site flows from the south-southeast to the <br /> north-northwest The 448 East Miner Avenue site is presently situated upgradient of the <br /> subject site Sanborn maps and aerial photographs indicate service stations have <br /> periodically operated at the 448 East Miner Avenue site from before 1950 to at least 1975. <br /> Based on these data, GSI had a title search performed for the 448 East Miner Avenue site <br /> TITLE SEARCH <br /> GSI contracted with Vista to conduct a 50-year chain of title on the property located <br /> immediately upgradient of the subject site on southwest corner of North California Street <br /> and East Miner Avenue The parcel number of this property is 139-250-01 As the Vista <br /> 482704-1 5 GeoStrategies <br />
