KEW <br /> GeoStrategies Inc. <br /> September 21 , 1994 <br /> Mr Bob Boust <br /> Unocal Corporation <br /> P O Box 5155 <br /> San Ramon, California 94583 <br /> i <br /> Subject Well Installation Report for former Unocal Service Station No 0187, <br /> 437 East Miner Avenue, Stockton, California. <br /> SJCEHD Site Code. 1181 <br /> Ms Boust <br /> This report summarizes field activities performed by GeoStrategies Inc (GSI) on <br /> July 6 through 8, 1994, during installation of three onsite groundwater <br /> monitoring wells and drilling of five onsite exploratory soil borings at the above <br /> referenced location The work described herein was originally proposed in GSI <br /> Report No 782790-4, Work Plan, dated March 9, 1994 This work was <br /> performed at the request of Unocal Corporation <br /> A GSI geologist observed the installation of wells and the drilling of the <br /> exploratory borings, prepared a log of each well and exploratory soil boring, and <br /> collected soil samples for chemical analysis Field work described in this report <br /> was performed to comply with the State of California Water Resources Control <br /> Board's Leaking Underground Fuel Tanks (LOFT) Manual, the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board's (RWQCB) Trl-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites, and San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (SJCEHD) guidelines <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject site is a vacant lot situated on the northwest corner of East Miner <br /> Avenue and California Street in the City of Stockton, California (Figure 1 ) The <br /> subject site Is situated in an area of retail stores and hotels Topography in the <br /> site vicinity is flat-lying, at an elevation of approximately 15 feet above Mean Sea <br /> Level (MSL) McLeod Lake and the Stockton Deep Water Channel are situated <br /> approximately one-half mile to the west <br /> I <br /> Report No 4827 703 5 1 <br /> 6747 Sierra Court, Suite G • Dublin, CA 94568 -(510) 551-8777.
