ATTACHMEIHEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br /> 5.4 Decontamination Equipment <br /> • Wash buckets <br /> • Long-handles scrub brushes <br /> • Detergent <br /> • Plastic bags <br /> • Steam cleaner <br /> 6.0 SPECIAL TASK REQUIREMENTS <br /> 6.1 Soil and Groundwater Sampling <br /> „j Soil cuttings, water samples and soil samples produced may contain petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons. The materials produced from drilling will be placed in labeled 55 <br /> gallon DOT 17H drums and stored onsite pending laboratory analysis. Gloves <br /> will be worn during soil sampling to reduce the potential for dermal exposure to <br /> hydrocarbons. <br /> 7.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING AND MEDICAL MONITORING <br /> All ESA and subcontractor personnel working at this site will.have received health and <br /> safety training in conformance with OSHA requirement 1910.120. <br /> ` 8.0 DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES <br /> All equipment that may have become contaminated during field use will be <br /> decontaminated prior to leaving the site. Decontamination of sampling equipment will <br /> consist of a soap and water wash followed by a water rinse. Downhole drilling <br /> equipment will be decontaminated by steam cleaning. Decontamination water will be <br /> drummed and stored onsite pending laboratory analysis. <br /> 9.0 SITE SECURITY AND CONTROL <br /> Each work location at this site will be isolated using traffic cones and barricades to divert <br /> vehicular traffic. Pedestrian traffic will be diverted away from the work site by traffic <br /> cones,flagging and by personnel onsite. All vehicles left overnight will be locked and <br /> unfinished wells will be secured to limit access. <br /> 10.0 EMERGENCY SERVICES <br /> Police, fire and emergency medical services are readily available at this site through use <br /> of the 911 system. ESA personnel will have a portable phone on site for use in <br /> emergencies. There is also phones available within the UOP facility buildings. The <br /> 1 nearest emergency medical facility is the Dameron Hospital located at 525 West Acacia <br /> Street in Stockton.
