Lenna Shockley - 3 - Augu'. t.15, 2011
Site History/Assessments
In April 1994, soil contamination was identified during the removal of USTs. To date, 11
monitoring wells have been installed and monitored regularly. A Site map showing the location
of the monitoring wells and groundwater level contours is provided at the end of this five year
summary.
Y Remediation Summary
• Free Product: Free product as TPHd noted in MW-1 and MW-4 in most recent
monitoring event.
• Soil Excavation: An unknown volume of impacted soil was removed and disposed
offsite in 1994 `
• In-Situ Soil Remediation: Soil vapor extraction pilot test, approved by San Joaquin r'
County LOP in July 2010.
• Groundwater Remediation: Ozone sparging, January 2003 through July 2003.
u
General Site Conditions ..
• Geology and Hydrogeology: The Site is underlain by interbedded and intermixed sand,
silt and clay. The depth to groundwater varies seasonally between 26 to 36 feet bgs and
the groundwater gradient is northeast at approximately 0.0008 feet/foot. 11'
Groundwater Trends: There are more than 15 years of groundwater monitoring data for F
this Site. TPH-D trends and groundwater contours are shown below, source`area a
(MW-4) and down gradient (MW-7 and MW-6). ll JJyy
TOTAL PET+i PL t++.
