' 27 December 2005
S AGE-NC-95-0185
pages of the submitted laboratory electronic deliverable format (EDF) files and depth to water
measurements are provided in Appendix D.
4.0. CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected during the August 2005 monitoring period, AGE concludes:
• Visual free product was present in well MW-4. Free product monitoring and remediation
was initiated in August 2005. Well MW-5 continues to be inaccessible this quarter and has
' not been monitored since June 2004.
• Groundwater ranged between 32.01 feet and 32.85 feet above MSL and was inferred to flow
' toward the southeast at a gradient of approximately 0.009.ft/ft.
• Petroleum hydrocarbons have not been detected in wells MW-2 and MW-3 since the third
quarter 2002.
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon the results of the third quarter 2005 monitoring event, AGE recommends:
Continued quarterly ground water monitoring at the site for dissolved TPH-d; the next
monitoring event is scheduled for November 2005. New efforts to locate well MW-5.
' 0 Installation of monitoring wells to the north of well N4W-1 and to the east of well MW-4 to
further define the north and eastern sectors of the TPH-d plume.
' Interim ground water remediation to control the migration and reduce the concentrations of
the petroleum hydrocarbon ground water plume at the site.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
' performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised b
Our professional services were pe o g g y y
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based on
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluations of the hydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation were made from a limited number of
available data points (i.e. ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from
' these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
• interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
