' Well Installation and Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2002 <br /> SHOCKEY AND SONS TRUCKING <br /> ' $50 Milgeo Avenue, Ripon, California <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Lee Shockey, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for 850 Mllgeo Avenue,Ripon,California(the site) The scope of work Included the <br /> monitoring of four ground water monitoring wells and Installation of one additional ground water <br /> t monitoring well and six ozone sparge wells The location of the site and Its surroundings are depicted <br /> in Figure 1 Monitoring and ozone sparge wells,probe boring locations and structures on the site are <br /> shown in Figure 2 <br /> ' This report has been prepared in accordance with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites Site <br /> ' history and findings from previous investigations and previous monitoring events at the site are <br /> summarized in Appendix A Quarterly monitoring data from April 1996 to the present is summarized <br /> in Tables 1 and 2 of this report <br /> . 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> ' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines developed by Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> ' sites Groundwater monitoring activities conformed to guidelines issued by the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) Installation of monitoring and ozone sparge wells was <br /> ' performed in accordance with the AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment and Feasibility Study <br /> Work Plan, dated 07 June 2002 and approved by the EHD by letter dated 24 June 2002 <br /> ' 2 1 FREE PRODUCT REMOVAL <br /> ' During the previous ground water monitoring event In June 2002, free product was encountered in <br /> the four-inch diameter monitoring well MW-4 The amount of free product recovered in the bailer <br /> during purging increased from a thickness of approximately%2 inch at the Initial bail to 10 inches at <br /> ' the final bail <br /> On 03 and 22 July, 02 and 16 August and 10 and 17 September 2002, American Valley Waste Oil <br />' (AVWO) vacuum extracted between 125 and 200 gallons free product and ground water from well <br /> MW-4 with a dedicated one-inch suction pipe A total of 1,125 gallons of free product and waste <br /> water were recovered by AV WO and locally recycled at Riverbank Oil Transfer Copies of the waste <br />' disposal invoices are included in Appendix B <br /> • <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
