INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms Kimberly Farris-Yarwood of the Estate of Chester Farris (property owner), <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 545 East Miner <br /> Avenue, Stockton, California(the site) The scope of work Included the monitoring and sampling <br /> of five ground water monitoring wells,submittal of monitoring and analytical data to the State Water <br /> ' Resources Control Board's GeoTracker information management system, and preparation of this <br /> report The site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures,probe boring,soil sample, <br /> and monitoring well locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> ' (CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites Site history <br /> and findings from previous site investigations are summarized in Appendix A,the results of previous <br /> monitoring events are included in the tables of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> • This investigation was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the CVRWQCB and <br /> the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for the subsurface investigation <br /> ' of UST sites and sampling of ground water monitoring wells,respectively <br /> ' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 30 November 2004,a Solmst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> ' in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 relative to the tops of the well casings After ground water <br /> depth measurements were collected, monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 were purged of <br /> standing water using dedicated, disposable plastic bailers Approximately 125 and 19 gallons of <br /> twater were purged from wells MW-2 and MW-5, respectively Wells MW-1, MW-3, and MW-4 <br /> were purged dry after 0 5 to 1 gallon of ground water had been evacuated Ground water temperature, <br /> ' pH, and conductivity were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water <br /> analyzer Field data logs are included in Appendix B <br /> 22 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION <br /> ' Ground water samples were collected from the monitoring wells using dedicated,disposable plastic <br /> bailers after allowing the wells to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water volume <br /> iImmediately upon retrieval,samples were transferred into chilled,40-milliliter(ml)EPA-approved <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnwonmentai,Inc <br />
