Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 <br /> CHET'S AUTOMOTIVE <br /> t545 East Miner Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of the Estate of Chester Fams (property owner),Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> ' (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for 545 East Miner Avenue, Stockton,California(the site) <br /> The scope of work included monitoring and sampling five ground water monitoring wells,submittal <br /> of monitoring and analytical data to the State Water Resources Control Board's GeoTracker <br /> ' information management system, and preparation of this report The site and its surroundings are <br /> illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, probe boring, soil sample and monitoring well locations are <br /> i <br /> ' shown on Figure 2 <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> ' (CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigations of UST sites Site history and findings from previous site <br /> investigations are summarized in Appendix A,the results ofprevlous monitoring events are included <br /> in the tables of this report <br /> 20 PROCEDURES <br /> The investigation was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EHD) for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites <br /> and sampling of ground water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> ' On 07 September 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 relative to the tops of the well casings <br /> ' After ground water depth measurements were collected, the monitoring wells were purged using <br /> dedicated, disposable plastic bailers Between 0 75 and 15 gallons of water (a minimum of three <br /> ' casing volumes) were evacuated from wells MW-1 through MW-4, approximately 19 gallons of <br /> water were evacuated from MW-5 Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity were measured <br /> at 0 25 to 7 gallon intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field data and logs are <br /> included in Appendix B <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
