INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of the Estate of Mr Chester Farris (property owner),Advanced <br /> ' GeoEnviroiimental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for 545 East Miner Avenue, <br /> Stockton, California(the site) The scope of work included the monitoring and sampling of five <br /> ground water monitoring wells, submittal of monitoring and analytical data to the State Water <br /> Resources Control Board's GeoTracker information management system, and preparation of this <br /> report The site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures,probe boring, soil <br /> sample, and monitoring well locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites <br /> Site history and findings from previous site investigations are summarized in Appendix A, the <br /> results of previous monitoring events are included in the tables of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> This investigation was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the CVRWQCB <br /> and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the subsurface <br /> investigation of UST sites and sampling of ground water monitoring wells,respectively <br /> 1 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 16 October 2003, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-5 relative to the tops of the well casings <br /> After ground water depth measurements were collected, monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-4 <br /> ' were purged using dedicated, disposable plastic bailers and well MW-5 was purged using a <br /> Waterra inertia pump and dedicated tubing Approximately 1 5 gallons of water(a minimum of <br /> three casing volumes)were evacuated from wells MW-I through MW-4,while well MW-5 was <br /> evacuated of approximately 20 gallons of water Ground water temperature, pH, and conductivity <br /> were measured at 0 5 to 5 0 gallon intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer <br /> Field data and logs are included in Appendix B <br /> 1 <br /> Advanced GeoEnwonmenW,lime <br /> I <br />
