I <br /> Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2003 <br /> CHET'S AUTOMOTIVE <br /> 545 East Miner Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> ' 10 INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of the Estate of Chester Farris (property owner),Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared the enclosed quarterly report for 545 East Miner Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> (the site) The scope of work included monitoring and sampling five ground water monitoring wells <br /> and preparation of this report The site and its surroundings are illustrated on Figure 1 Structures, <br /> previous boring and sample locations and the existing monitoring well locations are shown on <br /> Figure 2 <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)guidelines for investigations ofUST sites Site history and findings from previous site <br /> investigations are summarized in Appendix A The results of previous monitoring events are <br /> included in the tables of this report <br /> I <br /> ' 2.0 PROCEDURES <br /> lie The investigation was conducted in accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EHD)for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites <br /> and sampling of ground water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> I <br /> On 24 January 2003, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in <br /> Lorin wells MW-1 throe MW-5 relative to the tops of the well casings <br /> monitoring through p g <br /> After ground water depth measurements were collected, monitoring wells MW-I through MW-4 <br /> were purged using dedicated, disposable plastic bailers Monitoring well MW-5 was purged with a <br /> two-stage PVC electric pump Between 2'/4 and 3 gallons of water (a minimum of three casing <br /> volumes)were evacuated from wells MW-1 through MW-4 and approximately 19 gallons of water <br /> were evacuated from MW-5 Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity were measured at 1/4- <br /> to 5-gallon intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field data and logs are included <br /> ' in Appendix B <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEn►ironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
