1 <br /> 05 February 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 48-0432 <br />' Page 4 of 4 <br /> • MTBE was detected in wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4 and MW-5 during the October 2001 <br /> monitoring event Three of the six ground water samples collected had reported <br /> concentrations of MTBE that exceed the State of California maximum contaminant level <br />' (MCL) <br />' 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br />' Based on the results of this investigation, AGE recommends <br /> • Performance of a quarterly monitoring event in February 2002 <br />' • Installation of a down-gradient monitoring well, as approved <br /> • Preparation of corrective action plan for the remediation of MTBE-impacted ground water <br /> 6.0. LIMITATIONS <br /> Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by <br />' environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly <br /> upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the <br /> geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a <br />' limited number of available data points(i a ground water samples),and subsurface conditions may <br /> vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the <br /> professional recommendations contained in this report <br /> 1 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
