Miner Ave., Stockton, CA (Figure 1)
Site Code: 1187
Dear Ms. Lagorio:
Ground Zero Analysis, Inc. (Ground Zero) is submitting this groundwater sampling report for the
above referenced site on behalf of Mr, JayFriedman. This report documents the most recent
p
groundwater quality data for the site. This verification sampling event was performed as directed by
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) in
correspondence dated September 14, 2001. Subsequent phone conversations with Regional Water
Quality Control Board (RWQCB) and PHS/EHD indicated that two additional monitoring and
sampling events were required prior to considering the site for closure.
SITE ACTIVITIES
Activities at the site included monitoring water Ievel elevations and purging and sampling groundwater
from both site monitoring wells (Figure 2). Groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum
hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX), gasoline
oxygenate additives, ethylene dibromide (EDB) and 1,2 dichloroethane (1,2 DCA). In addition, the
monitoring well locations and elevations were professionally surveyed as required by A132886 and
drummed purge water was transported offsite for disposal.
FIELDWORK
Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling
On March 11, 2002, depth to water was measured in monitoring wells MW1 and MW2. Groundwater
elevations were calculated by measuring the depth to groundwater in each well and subtracting from
the respective wellhead elevation. Groundwater at the site rose an average of 0.09 feet since last
monitored on October 26, 2001. Groundwater elevation data are summarized in Table 1.
G:\Data\GROUNDZE\VALLEYVW\QNMkIQM2002.doc
