1 <br /> ■Te :fflean. <br /> 4.0 GROUNDWATER WELL SEARCH <br /> Using both state and local records, Versar reviewed the relevant files to locate and <br /> ' determine the construction of all recorded water wells within a 2,000-foot radius of the Site. the <br /> purpose of the record search was to determine whether any drinking water wells located close to <br /> ' the Site could potentially be impacted by the release from the former UST on site. Versar <br /> reviewed well records of the State Department of Water Resources (DWR), and the California <br /> Water Service Company. In addition, information was also obtained from the RWQCB, the <br /> Stockton Department of Water Resources, and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> ' Department. The file search revealed that there are five wells located within a 2,000-foot radius <br /> ' of the Site. The approximate well locations are shown in Figure 6. The information obtained for <br /> the five wells is summarized below. <br /> • Well A - Located approximately 1,800 feet southwest of the Site, installed in <br /> June 1941, with a total well depth of 230 feet. Utilized for air <br /> ' conditioning. Construction consists of a 255-foot, 12-inch diameter, <br /> double well casing, with a screen interval beginning at 128 feet bgs. <br /> • Well B - Located approximately 1,700 feet west of the Site (Stockton <br /> Courthouse Square), installed in April 1949. Total well depth of 82 <br /> feet, diameter of 14 inches, and a temperature of 77°F. No well use or <br /> ' construction information contained in the DWR file. <br /> • <br /> Well C - Located approximately 1,900 feet southeast of the Site; domestic well <br /> installed in June 1949 to a depth of 138 feet. The casing is 10 inches <br /> in diameter. No well construction information contained in the DWR <br /> t file. <br /> • <br /> Well D - Located approximately 1,000 feet northeast of the Site, installed in <br /> ' Mav 1960. Utilized as a municipal well up until approximately 5 years <br /> ago. The well is currently not used as a water supply. The well's total <br /> depth is 550 feet, and is 30-inches in diameter with a screened interval <br /> ' from 252 to 530 feet bgs.
