BROWN AND <br /> C A L D W E L L <br /> APR 2 5 1995 <br /> April 19, 1995 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Mr Jim Woodward <br /> Operations Manager <br /> Sheldon Oil Company <br /> 426 Main Street <br /> Suisun, California 94585 017-1422-0114 <br /> Subject Final First Quarter 1995 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Kent's Oil Facility, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Woodward <br /> This report presents the results of water-level measurements and groundwater sampling <br /> performed during the first quarter of 1995 at Kent's Oil Facility located at 3310 E Muter <br /> Street, Stockton, California The work was performed on March 1, 1995, by Brown and <br /> Caldwell <br /> There are three on-site wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 Well locations are shown on <br /> Figure 1 Water-level measurements and groundwater samples were collected from all three <br /> wells during the fourth quarter sampling event <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> Prior to commencing purging, static water levels were measured and a check for floating <br /> product was made in each well Prior to sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of <br /> three well volumes using a submersible pump After purging, each well was sampled using <br /> a disposable bailer <br /> All groundwater samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylene <br /> isomers (BTEX) by U S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 602, total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G)by EPA Method 8015 Modified/Purge and Trap, <br /> and diesel (TPH-D), and motor oil (TPH-MO) by EPA Method 5030/8015 Modified <br /> Results <br /> The groundwater flow direction on March 1, 1995 was to the southwest and is shown on <br /> Figure 1 Water-level data are shown in Table 1 Historical groundwater flow directions and <br /> gradients are shown in Table 2 <br /> Thts report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> • prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described in this report evicts at the site <br /> Environmental Engineering And Consulting Analytical Services <br /> EM 422VRPORTS%95QTRSYIV ST95QTR.RPT <br /> 4616 MICRO,, A%ENUE P 0 Bax 13449, SACRAMENTO CA 95813 3449 <br /> (916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 3277 <br />
