c� <br /> • Third Quarter 1995 Status Report 5 <br /> Golden Grain Company, Manteca Bean Facility, 229 Moffat Blvd, Manteca, CA September 25, 1995 <br /> method detection limit Results of effluent water sample analyses were below the City of Manteca <br /> Public Works Department Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit (No 92-2) limits <br /> CUMULATIVE REMOVAL OF TPH-G <br /> TPH-g concentrations were not detected in vapors removed from the soil by the VES during this <br /> quarter except for August 17, when 2 ppmv was measured by FID The cumulative amount of <br /> hydrocarbons removed by VES since start-up is estimated at 3,444 pounds Calculations using <br /> TPH-g concentrations in groundwater treatment system Influent and the system flow rate indicate <br /> that less than 1 pound of TPH-g was removed from the groundwater during this quarter The <br /> cumulative amount of hydrocarbons removed from the groundwater is estimated to be <br /> approximately 7 pounds <br /> CONTINUED OPERATION <br /> Site work for the next quarter will Include site visits twice each month for equipment operation and <br /> maintenance, weekly monitoring of system operating conditions and vapor influent and effluent <br /> concentrations during pulsed operation, quarterly monitoring and sampling of site wells, and <br /> quarterly sampling of treatment system influent and effluent groundwater streams Also, quarterly <br /> applied and induced vacuum readings will be measured The treatment system is expected to <br /> operate under pulsed conditions until the end of October, when the data will be evaluated to <br /> determine continued system operating parameters <br /> If you have any questions or comments regarding this report, please call our Concord office at <br /> (510) 671-2387 <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc.
