3.0 PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK The objectives of the proposed scope of work are to further define the lateral and vertical extent of impacted groundwater, and to expand the monitoring well network at the site To achieve these objectives, four additional groundwater table monitoring wells and one on-site cased second groundwater-bearing zone well will be installed, and groundwater from the expanded monitoring well network will be monitored and sampled 31 Project Planning and Permitting Prior to initiating fieldwork, a site-specific health and safety plan addendum will be prepared according to 29 CFR 1919120 The health and safety plan will include safety procedures for work to be performed, chemical hazard information, site safety officers, and the closest hospital To perform the proposed scope of work, drilling permits will be obtained from EHD Since three of the proposed monitoring wells are within city of Manteca rights-of-way, an encroachment permit will be obtained At least two working days prior to drilling, Ramage Environmental will notify EHD so that inspections can be scheduled Underground Service Alert will also be notified so that member utilities can mark their underground services r 32 Groundwater Monitoring Well Installations To further investigate the lateral and vertical extent of impacted groundwater, four additional groundwater table monitoring wells and one on-site cased second groundwater-bearing zone well will be installed The groundwater table monitoring wells will be positioned in the northwest corner of the site, within the shoulder of Moffat Boulevard northwest of the site, near the northeast corner of Moffat Boulevard and Sherman Avenue north of the site, and on the north side of the city of Manteca bike path southwest of the site The cased second groundwater-bearing zone well will be installed adjacent to the northern former UST The proposed well locations are shown on Figure 2 . 9
