The samples collected on March 19, 2002 were transported in an iced cooler with chain-of-
custody documentation to Kiff Analytical, LLC (Kiff), a state of California certified hazardous waste
testing laboratory (Certification #2236) Kiff analyzed each of the groundwater samples for TPH-
as-diesel by EPA Method 8015M, and for TPH-as-gasoline, BTEX, MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME,
t TBA, and 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 82606
' The samples collected on June 26, 2002 were transported in an iced cooler with chain-of-custody
documentation to Excelchem Environmental Labs (Excelchem), a state of California certified
hazardous waste testing laboratory (Certification #2119) Excelchem analyzed each of the
groundwater samples for TPH-as-diesel and TPH-as-gasoline by EPA Method 802018015M, and
for BTEX, MTBE, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, TBA, and 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 8260E
For both quarterly groundwater sampling ng events, the groundwater samples collected from all three
' of the groundwater monitoring wells contained detectable concentrations of petroleum
hydrocarbons The groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 2 The
concentrations of TPH-as-diesel, TPH-as-gasoline and benzene are posted on Figure 5 for the
March 19, 2002 results, and on Figure 6 for the June 26, 2002 results The laboratory reports are
included in Appendix A
