The groundwater samples collected on August 27, 2004 were transported in an iced cooler with <br /> chain-of-custody documentation to Kiff Analytical, LLC (Kiff), a state of California certified <br /> hazardous waste testing laboratory (Certification #2236) Kiff analyzed each of the groundwater <br /> samples for TPH-as-gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), methyl <br /> tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary butyl ether(ETBE), tertiary amyl <br /> methyl ether (TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA) and 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 82608 <br /> The analytical results from the August 27, 2004 groundwater sampling event indicated that TPH- <br /> as-gasoline and BTEX compounds were detected at MW-1 and MW-3 The sample collected <br /> from MW-2 did not contain detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons, and the five <br /> oxygenate compounds and 1,2-DCA were not detected in any of the groundwater samples TPH- <br /> as-diesel was not analyzed The distributions of TPH-as-gasoline and benzene are shown on <br /> isoconcentration maps (Figures 5 and 6) <br /> The groundwater samples collected on December ecember 29, 2004 were transported in an iced cooler <br /> with chain-of-custody documentation to Excelchem Environmental Labs (Excelchem), a state of <br /> California certified hazardous waste testing laboratory (Certification#2119) Excelchem analyzed <br /> each of the groundwater samples for TPH-as-diesel, TPH-as-gasoline and BTEX by EPA Method <br /> 8020/8015M, and for MTBE, DIPE, ETRE, TAME, TBA, and 1,2-DCA by EPA Method 82606 <br /> The analytical results from the December 29, 2004 groundwater sampling event indicated that <br /> TPH-as-diesel, TPH-as-gasoline and BTEX compounds were detected in all three monitoring <br /> wells The five oxygenate compounds and 1,2-DCA were not detected in any of the groundwater <br /> samples The distributions of TPH-as-diesel, TPH-as-gasoline and benzene are shown on <br /> isoconcentration maps (Figures 7, 8 and 9) <br /> 8 <br />
