This is a report of the results of the fourth quarter 2005 groundwater monitoring event conducted at the <br /> above-referenced Site The fourth quarter 2005 monitoring event was initially scheduled to take place on <br /> December 29, 2004, but the plant was closed for the week and the Site was therefore inaccessible, fourth <br /> quarter 2005 monitoring was consequently postponed until January 5,2006 <br /> The fourth quarter events previously conducted (December 2003 and December 2004) included sampling <br /> of monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5, MW-7, and MW-8`Condor recommended quarterly monitoring of <br /> MW-5 and MW-8 in the First Quarter Groundwater Monitoring Report—March 2005, dated March 31, <br /> 2005 Mr Harlm Knoll of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD) verbally <br /> agreed to that work scope provided that Site monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-4 are sampled on annual <br /> basis in the fourth quarter Although monitoring wells MW-1, MW-4, MW-5, and MW-8 were scheduled <br /> to be sampled as part of tlus annual monitoring event, monitoring well MW-7 was inadvertently sampled <br /> instead of MW-1, replicating the previous (December 2003 and 2004) annual well sampling schedules <br /> Consequently, Condor will sample MW-1 as part of the March 2006 quarterly monitoring event <br /> Maps indicating the Site location, monitoring well locations and well-collar elevations (Site map), and <br /> groundwater gradient are included as Figures 1, 2, and 3, Attachment A, respectively Also attached are <br /> Site background information, historic groundwater monitoring data, field forms, and laboratory analytical <br /> reports for the current monitoring event This report has been submitted to the SJCEHD and the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB), as referenced above A summary of the <br /> current quarterly monitoring event is included on the next page <br /> • <br />
