Monitoring Reductions—Eckert Cold Storage Co.
March 7,2003
Page-2-
• 4 and MW-8 should be continued to evaluate the down-gradient extent of groundwater contamination and
will be necessary to establish a diminishing plume for site closure following remediation. Any site
monitor wells that are available for water level measurement should be measured quarterly because of the
low cost of this effort and to assist in groundwater gradient determination, especially because the
groundwater table is very flat at the site and the gradient is difficult to determine with just a few data
points.
On behalf of Eckert Cold Storage Co. (Eckert), Condor thanks you for your rapid consideration of the
proposed monitoring reductions and your attention to this project. We look forward to working with
Eckert and you to move the project towards timely completion. If you have any questions, please call us
at (209)234-0518.
Sincerely,
CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Donald F.
