1 5
Eckert Cold Storage Co.
757 Moffat Blvd., Manteca CA 11/23/98
Receptor Survey Page: 5
5.0 Conclusions
' There are several identified receptors within 2,000 feet of the subject property. None of the
receptors are likely to receive contamination from the identified plume on the subject
' property due to their location relative to the plume or their inherent protection due to the
construction of the facility. The distance from the plume would require a substantial amount
of time and dilutions to reach the identified receptors.
' The groundwater gradient has predominantly been in the northwest direction. This direction
is away from the deep well receptors. The receptors are upgradient from the plume.
WIC' concludes that the residual contamination plume is not a risk to human health based
on the known receptors in this study.
1
1 6.0 Limitations
The above represents our best professional opinion as to environmental conditions at this
site. These opinions were derived using data at hand, and using standards of care common
to the environmental consulting community in Northern California. Additional work or
sampling at this site may generate data that could lead to a change of opinion regarding site
' conditions or appropriate site remediation procedures, or both.
1 Prepared by:
1
oQRQFENO
SS
22 339
1 A. ee DeLano, .E.
