Rios c/o Vic Meyer Eng. , Assoc.
13 Ramon Dr. 4 N. Main Street
Galt, CA 95632 Lodi, CA 95240
PROJECT DESCRIP TICIJ: Site Approval Permit for farm services
headquarters to include storage facility and office.
In response to notice sent to property owners concerning
. . above project permit, we submit the following.
Acampo Road already is a heavily traveled truck and school
bus route. Houston School, nearby, is used for many
community events as well as schooling, and parked cars and
traffic is always present as well as children riding
bicycles and walking in the area.
No business causing extra traffic or noise is allowed on
the north side of Acampo Rmad, yet the proposed permit
would allow more traffic, heavy farm machinery, cars and
trucks into the area. We object to this.
During the grape harvest, we have trucks and gondolas
coming and going, day an.' night, to the Liberty Winery
and causing much disturbance.
The question of a future farm labor camp has arisen. The
community as a whole objects to this intensely. We already
have a farm labor camp in the area.
We feel the proposed project would decrease our property
values, cause a hazard to our children, present. a health
and safety problem, and subje=ct us to more noise and
traffic problems. We, already, have enough problems.
The following property owners request and petition that. the
Site Approval Permit for this project be rejected and do
sign their signatures to that effect. This statement dated
April 6, 1988. Persons signed below request a copy of the
Planning Division action.
AI E ADDRESS DATE Q
continued cn page 2
