Margaret Lagorio, EHD was on site at about 12:00 .
nc,OXL
MW # 2
At 1:20 PM, 6/18/91, a 14" core was cut in the asphalt
surface as shown on Figure 1, located about 35' southerly of
the proposed location, in the vicinity of a fire hydrant and
a bar roon sign post. This location was chosen to avoid
power lines and possible water lines. The well was bored to
about 35' bgl; split spoon cores were taken at 5' intervals,
5' , 10' , 151 , 20' and 25' bgl (Figure 3) .
The -soils are described as follows: From surface to
--10 1/21 , tan, silty sand; from -10 1/2' to -16 1/21 , tan,
silty sand with interspersed clay; from -16 1/2' to -211 ,
light tan, silty, medium-grained sand; from -21 ' to -261 ,
coarse-grained arkosic sand; at -261to -26 1/21 , in core,
,•' grey, plastic clay; from --26 1/2' to -301 , coarse-grained,
arkosic sand as above; from -30' to- 351 , medium to coarse-
grained, silty sand with interspersed clay. On this well (and MH 3), the perforated interval was
raised to -20' owing to a lack of certainty of the water
table depth.
_ t
Mw # 3
MW # 3 was bored on June 19, 1991. The site was located
about as shown on Figure 1, at the southwesterly end of the
property, near the property fence line and Moffat Blvd. The
surface at this location was packed gravel - rubble and
highly degraded asphalt. The area is a parking and repair
v: location for diesel equipment and trucks.
