INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Liaquat Khan, Advanced GeoEnvironrnental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton,California <br /> (the site) The scope of work included monitoring and sampling the interim ground water <br /> remediation system,monitoring and sampling four ground water monitoring wells,and preparation <br /> ' of this report The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 On-site structures, boring and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 The layout of the ground water extraction <br /> system is shown on Figure 3 <br /> The interimround water extractions stem began operations on 04 August 2004 However,due to <br /> g Y g p g <br /> difficulties with the pump in MW-4, ground water could be extracted only from well MW-2 <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank(UST)sites Site <br /> background information is included in Appendix A <br /> r • 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> ' Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells and Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of <br /> ' underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 1 GROUND WATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING J <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling was performed on 22 September 2004 on wells MW-I and <br /> ' MW-3 through MW-5, well MW-2 was not monitored because it had been converted to a ground <br /> water extraction well Wells MW-I through MW-4 are screened through first ground water, well <br /> MW-5 is screened through a deeper water zone <br /> 2 1 1 Well Monitoring and Evacuation <br /> A Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in monitoring wells <br /> MW-1 and MW-3 through MW-5 relative to the tops of the well casings After water levels were <br /> measured, approximately 5 0 to 5 25 gallons (a minimum of three casing-water volumes) of water <br /> were removed from wells MW-1,MW-3 and MW-4 utilizing adisposable bailer,and approximately <br /> ' Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
