Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2004 <br /> LOCAL FOOD STORE <br /> 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> I.O. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Liaquat Khan, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> (the site). The scope of work included monitoring and sampling five ground water monitoring wells <br /> and preparation of this report. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. On-site structures, <br /> boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> _ (CVRWQCB)guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank(UST) sites. A <br /> general history of the site is included in Appendix A. Previous ground water monitoring results are <br /> included in the tables of this report. <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells and Central Valley <br /> �- Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites. <br /> 2.1. WILL HEAD SURVEY <br /> On 01 April 2004, a California state-licensed surveying engineer from Baumbach & Piazza, Inc. <br /> surveyed the location and elevation of monitoring well MW-5; the location was surveyed to the <br /> nearest 0.1-foot relative to coordinate datum NAD 83 (1986),and the elevation at the top of the well <br /> casing was surveyed to the nearest 0.01-foot relative to Stockton Benchmark #253, surveyed at an <br /> elevation of 2.39 feet above mean sea level (MSL) The results of the monitoring well survey are <br /> included in Table 1. <br /> 2.2. INTERIM GROUND WATER REMEDIATION <br /> Ground water remediation system installation and operation was performed in accordance with <br /> procedures described in the approved Interim Remediation/Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, <br /> dated 15 May 2003. Trenching and piping for the remediation system was conducted on 12 and 13 <br /> April 2004. A fenced enclosure for the remediation system was constructed on 19 and 21 April 2004. <br /> Pumps and tubing were installed in the extraction wells on 30 April 2004. Carbon vessels and a <br /> baker tank were placed in the fenced enclosure on 06 May 2004. Additional remediation equipment <br /> Advanced Geo Environmental.Ine. <br />
