INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Liaqat Khan, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> (the site) The scope of work included monitoring and sampling four ground water monitoring wells <br /> ' and preparation of this report The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures, <br /> boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> This report has prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> General background information and data were presented in the AGE-prepared Preliminary <br /> ' Evaluation and Investigation Report, dated 04 August 2000 Previous ground water monitoring <br /> results are included m,the tables of this report <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> The field activities were performed in accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD)-approved Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, prepared by AGE, <br /> dated 29 November 1999 <br /> �1 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 23 August 2002, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in' <br /> all four monitoring wells relative to the tops'of the well casings After water levels were measured, <br /> ' each well,was purged utilizing a disposable bailer or two-stage pump Approximately 5 5 gallons <br /> (a minimum of three casing-water volumes) of water were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3 and <br /> ' MW-4 and 22 gallons of water were removed from well MW-2 <br /> ' Temperature,pH and conductivity of the purged water were measured at approximately one-gallon <br /> intervals for MW-1,MW-3 and MW-4 and at five-gallon intervals for MW-2 Temperature,pH and <br /> ' conductivity of the purged water was measured using an Oakton water analyzer (Appendix A) <br /> Purged water was stored on-site in 55-gallon, DOT-approved drums <br /> 1 <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES 1 <br /> 1 <br /> Prior to,collection of ground water samples, the depth to,ground water was measured again in each' !' <br /> well to ensure that a minimum of 80%of the initial well volume had recharged Water samples were I j <br /> 1 1 E f ti i E l i <br /> , <br /> 14 <br />
