INTRODUCTION <br /> ' At the request of Mr Liaqat Khan of Local Food Store,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> has prepared this quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, <br /> Stockton, California (the site) The scope of work included monitoring and sampling four ground <br /> water monitoring wells and preparation of this report The location of the site is illustrated in <br /> Figure 1 On-site structures, boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> ' This report has prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> General background information and data were presented in the AGE-prepared Preliminary <br /> Evaluation and Investigation Report, dated 04 August 2000 Previous ground water monitoring <br /> results are included in the tables of this report <br /> 2 0. PROCEDURES <br /> The field activities were performed in accordance with the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> T Health Department (EHD)-approved Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, prepared by AGE, <br /> dated 29 November 1999 <br /> 21 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 31 May 2002, a Sohnst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in all <br /> ' a four monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After water levels were measured;each <br /> well was purged utilizing a disposable bailer or two-stage pump Approximately six gallons (a <br /> minimum of threes casing-water volumes) of water were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3 and,, <br /> MW-4 and twenty-four gallons of water were removed from well MW-2 ; <br /> I ; <br /> Temperature, pH and conductivity of the purged water were measured at one-gallon intervals for <br /> MW-1,MW-3 and MW-4 and at five-gallon intervals for MW-2 Temperature,pH,and conductivity <br /> of the purged water was measured usmg'an Oakton water analyzer(Appendix A) Purged water was , <br /> stored on-site m 55-gallon, DOT-approved drums <br /> ' 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Prior to collection'of ground water samples, the depth to groundwater was measured again in each <br /> well to ensure that a minimum of 80%of the initial well volume had recharged Water samples were <br /> 1 I I I <br /> I II <br /> '� � ! i� I h I I I .• I � I � 'il � I <br />
