INTRODUCTION <br /> t _At the request of Mr Liagat Khan of Local Food Store,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> --=has-prepared this quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, <br /> Stockton, California(the site) - <br /> _ <br /> -The scope of wdrk for this mvestigation included monitoring and saniplmg of four groundwater <br /> monitoring wells on 27 August 2001 and preparation of this report of findings The location of the <br /> --site with respect to its surroundings is illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures, boring and <br /> monitoring well locations-are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> ' This reporris I prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> guidelines for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank(UST) sites <br /> ' y -General background- information and data were presented in_Preliminary Evaluation -and <br /> - Investigation Report, dated 04 August 2000, prepared.by AGE <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURE_S <br /> The field activities were performed in accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> $- - Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)-approved Preliminary Site Assessment Work <br /> Plan prepared by AGE, dated 29 November 1999 - <br /> 2 1 GROUND WATER MONITORING ACTIVITIES <br /> _ —On 27 August 2001, a ground water monitoring event was conducted at the site The monitoring <br /> ' activities included the measurement of depths to the groundwater surface within wells and collection <br /> of ground water samples from the four monitoring wells - <br /> ' _ s—The water level m monitormg vaells MW-1-through MW-4 was measured relative to the tops of the <br /> well casings using a Sohnst water level meter-After water levels were measured, each well was <br /> - - -purged utilizing a disposable bailer or 2-,stage pump Six gallons (a minunum of three casing-water <br /> volumes) of water were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3 and MW-4 and twenty-two gallons-of <br /> water were removed from well MW-2 <br /> -Temperature, pH and conductivity of the purged water were measured at two-gallon intervals for <br /> MW-1, MW-3 and MWT4 and at five-gallon mtervals for MW-2 Temperature, pH and conductivity _ - <br />
