N INTRODUCTION <br /> ' ;At the request of Mr Liaqat Khan of Local Food Store,Advanced GeoEnvironmentaI, Inc (AGE) <br /> has prepared this quarterly report for Local Food Store, located at 2650 Monte Diablo Avenue, <br /> Stockton, California(tile site) <br /> The scope of work of this investigation included ground water monitoring and sampling of four - <br /> rr onitonng wells on 28 February 2001 and preparation of this report of findings The location of the <br /> site with respect to its surroundings is illustrated in Figure 1 On-site structures, boring and <br /> monitonng well locations are illustrated in Figure 2 ' <br /> ' This report is prepared in'accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> guidehnes for subsurface investigations of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> General background information and data were presented in Preliminary Evaluation and <br /> Investigation Report, dated 04 August 2000, prepared by AGE <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> The field activities were performed-in accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD)-approved Preliminary Sate Assessment Work <br /> ' Plan prepared by AGE, dated 29 November 1999 <br /> 1 21 GROUND WATER MONITORING ACTIVITIES <br /> On 28 February 2001, a ground water monitoring,event was conducted at the site The monitoring <br /> ' - activities included the measurement of depths to the groundwater surface within wells and collection <br /> of ground water samples from the four monitoring wells <br /> 1 The water level in monitoring wells-MW-1 through MW-4 were measured relative to the tops of the <br /> well casings using a Solmst water level meter After water levels were measured, a two-stage <br /> submersible pump was used to purge each well Six gallons (a minimum of three casing-water- <br /> ' volumes) of water were removed from wells MW-1, MW-3 and MWA and twenty-five gallons of <br /> water were removed from well MW-2 <br /> ' Temperature, pH and conductivity of the purged water were measured at two-gallon intervals for <br /> • MW-1, MW-3 and MW4 and at five-gallon intervals for MW-2 Temperature,pH and conductivity . <br />
