MACHADO PROPERTY Page 10
WKA No. 6078.02
November 1, 2004
Municipal Infrastructure
Potable Water Supply
When the property is entitled and developed, it will most likely be supplied potable water by the
Mountain House Community Services District. The California Aqueduct is strictly the water
supplier to the Mountain House area.
To improve the taste and odor of the water coming from the aqueduct, it is filtered to remove
iron and manganese. The water is then tested for coliform, volatile organic chemicals, inorganic
chemicals, heavy metals and other state-mandated parameters.
Wastewater Management
• We have discussed wastewater management with personnel from the Mountain House
Community Services District(MHCSD). MHCSD personnel reported that when the subject
property is entitled and developed,it will most likely be provided sanitary sewer service by the
MHCSD.
Stormwater Management
No municipally developed provisions for stormwater management currently exist on the subject
property. We anticipate that when the subject property is entitled and developed, constructed
stormwater features will be tied to the municipal stormwater system.
Agency Database Review
We have reviewed databases obtained by Environmental Data Resources,Inc. (EDR) regarding
hazardous materials handling or contamination on or near the subject property that are prepared
by the following agencies:
• United States Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)
• California Environmental Protection Agency(Cal-EPA)
• Cal-EPA Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)
• Cal-EPA Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment(OEHHA)
WALLACENK
VUHL
