INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr Nick Bokides of Mel Bokides Petroleum,Inc ,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,
' Inc (AGE)has prepared the enclosed report for the former Mel Bokides Petroleum facility located
at 444 Mossdale Road,Lathrop,California(site) The scope of work included gauging and sampling
' of the ground water monitoring well network on the site and preparation of this report The site
setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures, previous soil borings, and monitoring well locations
are depicted on Figure 2
' Field work was performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
(CVRWQCB)and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)guidelines for the
' subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and ground water monitoring well
sampling procedures, respectively The site history, a description of work previously performed at
the site with analytical data from the previous investigations, and a site conceptual model are
' summarized in Appendix A
' •
2.0. PROCEDURES
On 26 January 2045, ground water monitoring and sampling were performed at the site on wells
' MW-1 through MW-5
' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
' A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in monitoring wells
MW-1 through MW-5 After depth to groundwater measurements were obtained, approximately 4 to
4 5 gallons of water were removed from wells MW-2 through MW-5 (a minimum of three casing
water volumes per well) using dedicated, disposable polyethylene bailers Temperature, pH, and
' conductivity of purged ground water were measured at regular intervals using an Oakton water
analyzer Field data sheets are included in Appendix B
Purged water was temporarily stored on-site in properly labeled, Department of Transportation
(DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums pending proper disposal Following purging, the depth to ground
' water was measured to ensure that a minimum 80%well-volume recharge had been achieved prior
to sampling .
' Advanced GeoEnvvonmental,Inc
