FxNDINGS
Ground water elevation, flow direction and gradient were determined from field data collected on
31 May 2001, the contaminant impact to ground water was assessed from the laboratory data
I3 1 GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT
The average relative ground water elevation on 31 May 2001 was approximately seven to rune below
sea level, with an average depth to water of thirteen to fifteen feet below well casing grade The top
of the ground water table occurred within the screened intervals of the wells Ground water was
inferred to be flowing to the north and northeast (Figure 3) with a significant hydraulic gradient of
0 02 feet/feet to a low gradient of 0 008 feet/feet north of well MW-2
I3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
TPH-g and TPH-d were detected in two of the ground water samples TPH-g was detected in well
' samples MW-1 and MW-2 at concentrations of 76 micrograms per liter (µg/1) and 910 µg/1,
• respectively TPH-d was detected in the same samples at 150 µg/1 and 750µg/l, respectively
Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc.
