SIERRA <br /> Clint Rogers Page 3 <br /> June 13, 1991 <br /> SES Project #2-217-00 <br /> The soil samples will be field screened with an OVM in accordance with SES Standard <br /> Operating Procedure - OVM Readings (Appendix B). <br /> Drill cuttings will be stored on-site in 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT)- <br /> approved drums pending analytic results. Each drum will be sealed and labeled. <br /> The soil samples and grab ground water sample from the boring will be analyzed for <br /> TPPH(G),TPH(D)and BTEX by EPA Method 5030/8015, EPA Method 3510/8015 and EPA Method <br /> 8020, respectively. The samples will also be analyzed for O&G by Standard Methods Method <br /> 503E,HVOCs by EPA Method 8010,pesticides by EPA Methods 8080.8140 and Modified 632,and <br /> herbicides by EPA Method 8150. <br /> Task 4 - Drill Cuttings Disposal <br /> Disposal of the soil cuttings will be based on the analytic results. If the soil is clean, the <br /> drill cuttings will be left on-site. Steam-cleaning rinseate from drilling operations will be taken <br /> to a Chevron-designated disposal facility. <br /> Task 5 - Report <br /> A letter report presenting the results of the investigation will be prepared. The report will <br /> include: <br /> Text: <br /> - A summary of the results <br /> - Depth to ground water <br /> - Conclusions <br /> Table: <br /> - Tabulated soil and ground water analytic results <br /> Figures: <br /> - Site location map <br />
