ENVIRONMENT <br /> Dear Mr.Hanley: <br /> ARCADIS has prepared this Site Investigation Report for the property at 2059 Navy <br /> Date: <br /> Drive, Stockton, California(Site; Figure 1.).This site investigation was performed at 23 December 2005 <br /> the request of LKQ and following discussions with the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD). The purpose of the investigation was Contacts: <br /> to delineate the impacted soil and groundwater identified following removalof a Hoa Voscott <br /> diesel underground storage tank(UST)in 1995. The work was performed in. Scott Davis <br /> accordance with the Scope of Work and Cost Estimate submitted to LKQ <br /> Corporation on November 16, 2005. Phone: <br /> 510.233.3200 ext 1.41 <br /> The Site is owned by Rose Cal LLC and Kenneth W. Anderson is the managing 510.233.3200 ext 107 <br /> member. In the mid 1970s, the Site was developed as a concrete batch plant and email <br /> activities conducted generally include mixing cement, fly-ash,aggregates,and hvoscott@arcadis-us.com <br /> chemical additives,and filling cement-mixer trucks for off-site delivery. The Site is sdavis@arcadis-us.com <br /> currently leased to American Mix Company which currently operates the concrete <br /> batch plant. our ref: <br /> RC000690.0002.00001 <br /> The purpose of this investigation was to delineate impacts to soil and groundwater <br /> bene_ath the Site from the diesel UST.The following activities were performed as <br /> part of the site investigation: <br /> ■ Preparation of site-specific Health&Safety Plan.(HASP)for the proposed <br /> field activities; <br /> I <br /> ■ Preparation of a Work Plan for Limited Soil and Groundwater Investigation as <br /> Part of Property Transaction at 2059 Navy Drive in Stockton, California <br /> (Work Plan; ARCADIS,2005)and a boring permit application package for <br /> SJCEHD to obtain the necessary drilling permit; j <br /> i <br /> Part of a bigger picture <br />
