Pormer Nelson Ready Mix Page 10 Groundwater Monitoring Well Construction GPE Protect No 1112 March 30,2006 0 4.0 Monitoring Well Survey On March 15, 2006, Wong Engineers, Inc , a licensed surveying company, mobilized to the site to survey the horizontal and vertical position of each monitoring well using high precision GPS equipment and tied into a City of Stockton benchmark The vertical elevation was determined to an accuracy of 0 01 feet and the horizontal positions were determined to an accuracy of 0 1 feet) see Figure 3) This survey data will eventually be required to be uploaded to the State's "Geotracker" electronic data reporting system The data were used to calculate the direction of groundwater flow at the site, and will also be used in future groundwater monitoring events ' 50 Receptor Survey As directed by the San Joaquin County EHD, a receptor survey was completed ' This consisted of requesting the California Department of Water Resources to search their records for water production wells that may exist within 2,000 feet of the point of release (see Figure 1) The records search was supplemented by a physical search of the area lie The search conducted by the DWR provided information on 21 wells Most of these wells were groundwater monitoring wells and except for one well, the others were outside the search area The only water production well that appeared to be inside the designated 2,000-foot search area is the well located on the subject site, about 100 feet west of the point of release The onsite domestic well is reported to be 263 feet deep with a slotted liner completion from total ' depth to 198 feet The search area for this receptor survey is shown on the USGS topographic map (Figure 1) No additional wells were identified in a street reconnaissance of the area completed on February 3, 2006 ' 2937 Veneman Ave ,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc Phone (209) 569-0293 Modesto, CA 95356 Fax (209) 569-0293
