Mel Bolades Petroleum Site Code: 1200 <br />' 2191 Navy Dr r <br /> Stoclnon,CA 95206 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division(EHD)has reviewed Quarterly Report dated April 3, <br /> 2002,prepared by Advanced GcoEnvironmental, Inc for the above referenced site.Further site <br /> mvestiga�hon is necessary to evaluate the groundwater condition and the vertical and lateral definition of <br /> contamination at this site <br /> Tlie results of groundwater sample analysis indacate the presence of total petroleum hydrocarbon as <br /> gasoline (gTHg)at concentrations as lugh as 800 ppm in MW7 Toluene was the only BT-EX compound <br /> detected in any of monitoring well samples at a inmri rim concentration of 1-5 ppb in MW4 Methyl <br /> ternary butyl ether(MtBE) was detected at conceutratrons as high as 43 ppb from MW6 <br /> The report recommends one deep soil bonng within the former LIST area for collection of grab <br /> groundwater samples to define the vertical extent of the hydrocarbon impact to ground water. EHD ag a:-s <br /> with this recomn;=dation. <br /> Conduct a complete well survey of domestac,mimicrpal,agr caltival,mdustnai and any other wells or <br />' <br /> sensitive receptors within a 2,000-foot radius of this sure. Contac.the Department of Water Resources, <br /> municipal water suppliers,EHD permit recoros, and nearby industries for well information. Perform a <br /> physical search of the area to identify any wells. Show the locations of all wells on a map,relative to the <br /> location of this site Submit any known construction details of the wells Identify all sources of <br /> information in the well survey report. A survey should also be conducted to Iocate any other potential <br /> conducts. Discuss conclusions regarding srte geology,hydrology, contaminant dnpositiou and imgration <br /> in soil and groundwater,and the threat posed to ground water under the influence of the pumping wells. <br /> 1 Submit a Sensitive Receptor Survey and a work plan to further investigate the lateral and vertical extent of <br /> contamination at this site to EHD by July 24,2002.
